I know that Thermage has changed quite a bit over the years, it's more effective and less painful. I am in my late 40s, olive skin and face lift is not necessary and out of the question for me. I just can't decide between the two.
Answer: Skin tightening There are many alternatives for skin tightening today. For mild tightening, Thermage may be enough but it doesn't penetrate deeply into the skin (the Titan laser even less so). For more lifting and tightening, Ulthera is the preferred non invasive treatment. For patients who may have some fatty tissue and need lifting and tightening my treatment of choice is Thermi RF Tight. Here we use radiofrequency energy, like Thermage, but deliver it under the skin to the deeper tissues for a much more robust and long lasting result. It only requires a single treatment session, that is painless because the area is numbed, and the results can last for years. This is the ideal treatment for patients who want what appear to be surgical results without the downtime, expense and potential side effects of surgery.

Answer: Thermage is still my preferred method for non-invasive skin tightening Thermage CPT is the next generation laser by Thermage. It is more effective, non-invasive, and not painful at all. It gives much better results than the Titan. The results are great and last for two years. It is especially good for patients in their 40's and 50's who will produce new collagen and rejuvenate their skin most effectively. For the best results please a board certified dermatologist with a great deal of experience with Thermage.

Answer: Thermage or Titan The Titan device by Cutera uses infra-red energy to heat the skin to stimulate the body’s own natural renewal process. Thermage CPT uses focused radiofrequency energy to stimulate the body’s own natural renewal process. Of the two technologies Thermage is deeper and more effective at heating the skin resulting in better improvement. A Thermage treatment can help improve the appearance of sagging or loose skin giving you a smoother, younger look with just one treatment and no down time. Our patients see results immediately off the table and continue to get improvement with Thermage CPT Total Tip treatments for up to 6 months as their skin regenerates new collagen. A Thermage CPT with Total Tip Technology treatment is what I recommend to my patients who want to improve the laxity of their skin. It is best to consult with a Board Certified Dermatologist with plenty of experience treating skin laxity to see what procedure is best for you.

Answer: Thermage for skin tightening and lifting Thermage is still the gold standard radio frequency device for skin tightening and lifting. Only one treatment is necessary. Usually results are seen after one month, but it takes 3 to 6 months to see the full benefit which lasts 1 to 2 years.
