Costs for Fraxel will vary depending on geographical location, what needs to be done and the skill of practitioner. The price quoted does seem high. If you are not happy with it, feel free to meet with other dermatologists whose work you admire to see if you can get a better price. Be sure to consult board-certified dermatologists who have experience making the types of changes you are hoping to see on your nose.
Cost will vary due to skills, expertise and technique. With fraxel laser, I combine with microneedling and prp to get better outcomes. See an expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer
Hello,A price of $2500 does seem quite excessive for one treatment for laser resurfacing. In our practice, here in Southern CA., our price is $1500 for a full face treatment which includes skin care products and check ups. For only the nose area, the cost is $995.00 per treatment. It may be helpful to ask your physician why the pricing is such based upon much lower pricing elsewhere.
Fraxel is generally performed on the whole face and not on the nose. The entire face is generally $1500 in my office. If you want to post photos and explain more perhaps we can answer if it is the correct procedure for you and can recommend an expert. Best, Dr. Green
Cost will vary depending on the Certification of the doctor, as for how each doctor charges, well, its not controlled by the company nor other doctors. My fees have a baseline fee, and a complex fee, that way it is transparent. Fraxel RePair has a consumable that is NOT needed for a CO2 laser - hence by seeing some that has a CO2 laser with no consumable, the price MAYBE cheaper. All the best, Dr Davin Lim. Brisbane.
