Can I close 2mm gap between canine and premolar using dental bonding?

I'm currently undergoing orthodontics where I had 4 first bicuspids extracted. Due to the unwanted facial changes, I do not want to close the gaps completely using retraction/ bringing the molars forward. I still have a few mms to go, but was wondering if we can stop at 2mms on all four points and then have those gaps closed aesthetically using dental bonding? How strong is it? Thank you! :)
