Is it okay to get a Brazilian wax before Enlighten laser tattoo removal?

I'm having Enlighten done on my bikini area and know that I will not be able to shave for six weeks after. Can I get a brazillian wax in advance of the laser treatment so I can stay hair free?

As long as the waxing is done at least 72 hours before your Enlighten treatment, there should not be a problem.

It's perfectly ok to have laser tattoo removal after skin waxing. I recommend you wait at least three days though to make sure the skin has recovered from the waxing. Be sure to tell your laser professional that are having waxing done so they can plan accordingly.

As long as the overlying skin surface does not have open wounds or signs of infection, you should be able to get laser treatment.  As a precaution, you may want to wait a few days after waxing to get the laser treatment.  Regardless, be sure to discuss these concerns with your laser provider prior to treatment.
