Thanks for your question!Missing applications of Latisse won’t cause any negative effects, but continuing to forget applications can cause results to plateau. I suggest just picking up where you left off and continuing to apply it to the lash line each night before bed. Many people think they can “catch up” on applications, but applying more than you need can actually cause the opposite effect. Try to keep yourself regimented each day and you will start to see improvements in 5-6 weeks!
This should not negatively impact your results. However, Latisse results may plateau. A combination approach is needed. In combination with Latisse, I typically inject and apply topically PRP for a few treatments at the beginning to improve the growth rate of the lashes. Take viviscal as well. See an expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question. Missing doses of your Latisse will inhibit your growth progress. After you reach your ideal length however, you can play with the dosing to keep that length. In the initial growth phase, they will just grow a little slower with missed doses. I hope this answers your question:)
Hi csg5825,Thank you for your question! Missing a few applications should not affect your results greatly. However, I recommend resuming daily use in order to achieve longer, thicker, and darker lashes. Best of luck!
Latisse is a Birnatoprost ophthalmic solution 0.03% FDA approved to grow lashes (and off-label use for eyebrows). It is recommended patients apply to lash line nightly over the course of 16 weeks. Do not be concerned if you’ve missed a few days, just continue as directed.Once the desired lash length is achieved apply Latisse, apply 3 times a week to maintain results. Discuss with your Board-Certified Dermatologist if Latisse is right for you.
Not a whole lot. Many people who use Latisse regularly can go down to twice per week use to maintain eyelash results.
So, the short answer is that blurry vision is a very usual side effect to have with Latisse. The first lecture in pharmacology class in med school they tell you that any medication can cause any side effects--so it is a possibility. I would look into your baseline...
I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with Dr. Emer. I tried the Grande Lash and I think it really worked. I've taken to mixing a few drops of Latisse into my grande lash container so I don't have mess with all those brush applicators they give you with Latisse (and I'm too lazy...
Some patients perceive that they have periorbital fat loss, but it is difficult to pin the problem directly on the Latisse. Everyone has some normal fat loss as time goes on, so some of your periorbital changes may be hereditary and a factor of time. If you feel the Latisse is worth...
