Age 36, Morpheus8: better before or after hyaluronidase? (Photos)

Question

I’m 36 and I have a permanent oedema from a hyaluronic filler that I received almost two years ago. Beside this I also have a gaunt mid-face with very thin cheeks, and I’ve been suggested to get a Morpheus treatment just to start. Do you suggest me to undergo Hyaluronidase first and then Morpheus or have the Morpheus before dissolving?

Hello, thank you for your question. It doesn’t necessarily matter which modality you do first. You can have the hyaluronidase injected first to immediately dissolve the maximum amount of filler remnants prior to having Morpheus8 to help rebuild collagen OR you can try using Morpheus8 first to see if the RF energy/heat generated with the procedure will reduce the remnants of filler/help address the edema while also repairing and building new collagen to increase volume in your midface. However, the Morpheus8 alone may not completely dissolve the filler, even with multiple treatments, and you may still need to dissolve the remnants of filler after the Morpheus8. Essentially, doing the Morpheus8 procedure(s) first would be an attempt to kill two birds with one stone &mdash; as it *could* resolve both issues simultaneously. But as with all medicine, there are no guarantees. I’d recommend consulting with an experienced practitioner to help decide which option is best for you/your budget. Best of luck!

Using Morpheus on your already thinned out, face will result in more fat loss and making you look even hollower than you already are. I would recommend using fat grafting to restore some of the volume according to your likes. When fat grafting is done by an expert, Plastic Surgeon, the results should be natural and permanent.
