Picosure & Clear & Brilliant vs Vbeam/Gentlemax Pro

Question

I had Vbeam and Gentlemax Pro and both times after being assured I would only have redness for a few days I had black scabs for 2 months. Is Picosure gentler than these other laser treatments?

Picosure is a great option for treating hyperpigmentation and is effective on all skin types, including darker skin tones. Settings are customizable for patient’s specific needs, such as pigmented lesions, wrinkles, acne scars, or unwanted dark tattoos. It is also the only FDA-approved picosecond laser capable of treating melasma pigment, nevus of Ota, and Hori’s nevus. Picosure has a significantly reduced downtime and a lower risk of side effects compared to other laser options.

It would have been extremely helpful to know what problem you were attempting to address with treatment. When it comes to expensive, so-called light and energy-based devices out there, it is important to emphasize that the hard science to back up the use of these often here-today-gone tomorrow, "bells and whistles" gizmos lags woefully behind the heavy marketing hype and social media buzz to promote them. What's more, as you have unfortunately found out the hard way, these treatments are not without their risks for adverse reactions. 
What I can say is that before investing in more gizmos with a host of fancy names, you might consider a consultation with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist to evaluate your particular issues and tailor more appropriate treatments (and often less expensive) that have stood the test of time for safety and efficacy.
