Thanks for this question. It is important to realize that we don’t diagnose hair loss from 15 hairs alone. We diagnose hair loss from listening to the full story from birth until now together with full scalp exam. The trichoscopy of the other areas matter. It’s also important to realize that trichoscopy is not very helpful if the area the photos were taken is not specified. If this is an image from the temples it has dramatically different meaning than if it’s from somewhere in the mid scalp. The trichoscopy here could suggest androgenetic hair loss if it’s from the mid scalp. Telogen effluvium would need to be evaluated clinically and with your full story as we don’t diagnose telogen effluvium confidently with trichoscopy. Be sure to see an expert if the diagnosis is not clear. Trichoscopy photos should never be evaluated in isolation.
