So when there is volume loss there, not only do the cheeks reflect this, but the under eye can as well with the development of tear trough and under eye hollows. PRP stands for platelet rich plasma. This procedure entails having your blood drawn and it being spun down in a centrifuge. The platelet rich plasma (the golden rich fluid) at the top of the tube is extracted and injected under the eyes. This procedure will help generate collagen production under the eyes.
