Dear Freetobeme2018, Thank you for your question. It looks like you have slightly impaired skin integrity. I would recommend treating this with bacitracin and be sure to carefully pat yourself dry after showering. If your bra is contributing to the irritation, I suggest putting a gauze pad in between the breast and your bra to prevent further shearing and friction. I suggest following up with your operating surgeon to address your concerns with them. Hopefully this was helpful and best of luck to you!

Thank you for your question and photo. Your photo shows that the wound is almost completely healed. Some areas of a breast reduction incision, particularly the "T" area at the middle of the under the breast incision can experience wound healing delay. You appear to be doing great and it should heal completely shortly. Keep in contact with your plastic surgeon and he or she may be able to offer a little "touch up" to close the wound completely. Dear ebs012,this type of wound is not uncommon after breast reduction. It is usually caused by poor blood flow. I would suggest you to consult your plastic surgeon, follow your surgeon's instructions and keep your wound clean and covered. It can take few weeks or months for wound to fully heal....
