How much size reduction can I expect after 9 weeks post Brazilian Butt Lift?

I'm am currently 9 weeks post BBL and my butt is still way toobig. I know I won't see the final results until 6 months but can I expect much of a difference from now until then? I specially told my surgeon I didn't want a big butt, just a nicer shape. I'm starting to worry that my butt is going to stay this big since I haven't seen much of a difference in the last two weeks.

Thanks for the question and provided information as well. 
You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient​. After a BBL, only about 70% of the transferred fat cells will survive, so you can expect a reduction in your buttocks. If you have any concerns, I suggest you follow up close with your plastic surgeon.

Thank you for the question. You are in the middle of the inflammatory phase of healing. During the initial phase after surgery, within the first three months, there is a period of inflammation and scarring that must occur in order for you to heal. It is during this time that you will appear swollen, lumpy/bumpy and firm. Over ensuing months these processes will subside and the inflammatory process gives way to scar softening and remodeling. It is during this time that you will start to see your results appear, although at a gradual rate. That is why most surgeons will tell their patients that they will not see their final results for at least 6 months.At this point in your post operative period I would encourage you to be patient and continue close follow up with your plastic surgeon. This will allow you and your surgeon the chance to discuss your concerns and help allay any anxieties you may be experiencing.I hope this helps. Good luck.
