I am 31/F.I have hypothyroidism n have been under medication for 2 yrs now(thyronorm 50) and my T3,T4,TSH r in normal range. For the last 6months i am having severe hairfall n thinning...on getting checked my DHT was high so taking finestride 5 mg for last 1 months along with minoxidil 5%, renocia solution (both once a day on alternate days) n biotin.Since starting minoxidil my hair is falling like crazy...its been about 3 weeks now. When can i expect it to stop or should i stop using minoxidil

The fact that there is shedding is actually a sign that Minoxidil is working.This "Effluvium" could last several months until the growth phase adjusts itself.
