(Female) I have access body hair on my chest and stomach due to Hirsutism and want to get rid of it permanently. I am of Hispanic decent with coarse hair. Can this be a possibility for me? If so, how long should I take the medication before it becomes permanent?

remove hair in unwanted locations your best bet is to buy a package of laser treatments.  For coarse hair, it could take 6 to 9 sessions
to reduce hair followed by once a year maintenance in some folks.  Laser hair reduction (LHR) is not complete
removal, it is significant reduction.   You
need to see your primary doctor to find the root cause of your hirsutism
symptoms.

No, Spironolactone will suppressive androgens and will suppress hair growth while you are on the medication. You will need to use forever. Options for permanent hair loss include laser hair removal.

Spirolactone can help slow down hair loss in some women although not all. Talk to your doctor and see if they think this may benefit you. This is important because they will take your medical circumstances into consideration .
