Based on your pictures you seem to be healing well, bruising is normal and will continue to be for a few months just give it time and continue to follow up with your PS.
Thank you for your question.Your nipple looks like it is healing. I suggest you reach out to your surgeon with your concerns. Best wishes!
It is hard to judge from photos and if you are concerned, you should see your plastic surgeon. But from what I can see on your photos, the areolae appear to be bruised and the perfusion to the nipples appears to be fine. The bruising can take up to fours weeks or longer to settle completely before you see your pre op nipple colour.
It would be very helpful if you did mention how long has your surgery been done, because bruising and swelling are normal manifestation of healing in the early stages of recovery. Having said this, it would be difficult to give an accurate assessment based on photos. Your best course of action would be to schedule an appointment with your board certified plastic surgeon as he/she knows your condition best.
Hi thank you for your question. It is not always possible to be sure what is going on from a photo. Having said that your nipples and areolae look very bruised but are likely to be viable (alive). If you have concerns the best thing to do is visit your surgeon for a review.Best wishes.

Hello and thank you for your question. Taking vitamins on an empty stomach can cause you to feel nauseous. Try eating prior to taking the vitamins, Tylenol, and ibuprofen. Best wishes!

Congratulations on your breast reduction, sandott! While shooting pains are normal and are a sign of nerve regeneration, dizziness isn’t. It’s best to get evaluated by your reputable and board-certified plastic surgeon to make sure that everything’s okay. Good luck!
Yes, bloating can be common after a breast reduction surgery. This bloating is usually due to a combination of factors, including the body's response to surgery, anesthesia, and medications such as pain relievers. The body's healing process and fluid retention can also contribute to bloating...
Dear lolo7806,based on your photos, it looks like your surgeon removed all the dead tissue and your wound looks clean. I suggest you to follow his instructions and keep the wound clean. It will probably take few weeks or months until the wound completely heals. Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, A...
