I had an extraction on #7 with a bone graft done 1 week ago today. Yesterday I saw my dentist he confirmed everything looked fine. I just now noticed that above my temp crown which have a temp brisge for #7, there is a small gap. Its on the front part of my gums, there are sutures and then gums, then a small gap or hole if you will. When I swish with wash or salt water I can feel it come through. I dont know if it was there yesterday but, is this normal?

Go see your dentist to make sure everything is ok. It's possible that it could be ok. I'm guessing you are not having any pain. If you are and , or you don't feel assured that everything is ok, Then I suggest you get a second opinion.
Hi:Normally, you can do bone grafting within a few days after extraction. At this time its best to wait 3 months for healing then evaluate.Best,Dr. Maddahi
