How much can nasal skin stretch?

Question

I have a naturally short nose and I want to get it lengthened. How much more size could my nasal skin accommodate? I want to lengthen my nose as much as possible. In normal nose development what is it exactly that causes the nasal skin to grow along with the underlying structure? Why is there a limit in surgery to how much longer a nose can be made? Can't the nasal skin be artificially stretched out somehow?

The ability to lengthen can be limited by skin envelope. How much of an issue will be dependent upon skin thickness, skin elasticity, current length, amount of change needed, etc.Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds  
of rhinoplasties and rhinoplasty revisions each year.  Then look at the 
 plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a

Virtually all noses can be lengthened to some degree. Often this involves cartilage grafting to extend the septum or bring down the tip. Other cases may simply involve releasing attachments within the nose.  Consult with an experienced facial plastic surgeon who can demonstrate before and after photos of cases similar to yours.
