How long is too long to put Invisalign back in?

Glad you're feeling better! Getting back on track with your Invisalign trays shouldn't be too difficult. If you had to take a break from wearing them for a while, there are several options to continuing treatment. If tray 10 fits pretty well, start wearing it, and make an appointment with your orthodontist for a check. Be sure to take tray 9 with you as well. Hopefully your doc can come up with a new aligner schedule for you and get you going again. Otherwise, a refinement might be needed. Hope this helps!Best, Dr. G

Soundslike they fit properly, so you should be able to resume your treatment.  I would contact your dentist and let him know that you were not wearing your trays for  two months, that they seem to fit, and what his recommendation is.  He may want to see you to evaluate the fit of the trays, and if anything else needs to be done to get you back on schedule.

If you fail to wear Invisalign for 2 months the chances are that you too will revert somewhat to their original positions. That being so it is very doubtful that you can pick the exact aligner to start over with. My recommendation is that you return to the orthodontist and be examined good luck

HiI recommend visiting the orthodontist treating you before progressing through your aligners.  The aligners might not feel tight, but it doesn't mean that they are fitting properly.  2 months is enough time for your teeth to move which could prevent the aligners from straightening your teeth properly.  Glad that you are feeling better and I hope that this helps.Kind regards,Dr. Jenn
