Can extraction orthodontics cause sunken facial profile? (Photo)

Question

I got brace with 4 teeth extraction (4/5 & 5/5) last month. Now I am with ceramic braces. I am worried if I'll get sunken and flat face after my braces are off. Can there be any long-term adverse condition and effect on my facial profile?

done incorrectly or for the wrong reason extractions can have a bad effect on a profile.BUT, done correctly for the right reasons, extractions can help the profile!Looking at your facial features you have protrusive front teeth (sticking out too far). Extractions will HELP your profile not hurt it.

Your profile will flatten somewhat but you probably will be happy with the change in the position of your teeth and how your profile looks after orthodontic treatment.  You will not look sunken in from this treatment.
