I knocked my front tooth out about 7 years ago, after having alot of dental work such as root treatment, braces etc i finally got a veneer fitted almost a year ago now and the last month or so i have had really inflammed gums above the tooth of the veneer and it almost looks cut, it isnt painful but it does smell really bad and the veneer also looks like it slowly starting to slip down my tooth, has anyone got any advice?

It depends on what
type of veneer you want to have completed. In most cases, a new veneer can be
completed within 2 weeks. However, if you’re using a dentist that has access to
an on-site dental laboratory or in-office lab machine, you may be able to even
have your veneer completed in a single day.
You are possibly
experiencing a side-effect from a material used during the preparation at your
appointment. Do you have a latex allergy? Perhaps you had some gum irritation
from the acid etc, cement or topical anesthetic. If your symptoms persist more
than a week, see your dentist for a follow...
Most veneers require
the tooth to be prepared before the veneer can be placed onto the tooth (unless
it is a no-prep veneer). You may have only had a certain amount of enamel to
work with, and your dentist prepped the tooth to a point where it could
