Lip reconstruction surgery is performed under local anesthesia in an office setting.  A plan would be developed based on your goals for your outcome.  It is very common to experience swelling after any lip procedure. 

This would typically be done under local anesthesia in our office O.R.  You could drive yourself home afterwards. Likely cost would be around $1500-$2000 depending on the details of the plan developed after examination.
