I had hi def vaser lipo on abdomen and sides(lovehandles) exactly 55days ago... 10 days after operation i had no curves on my sides... But now after 55 days my love handles look prominent.. Curves looking prominent and i can pinch good amount on my love handles.. So my concern is wether its still swelling or the fat has come back on my love handles.. I have provided 3 photographs 1 photo is 10 days post surgery and other 2 are 55 days post surgery..
Answer: Love handle curves looking prominent 2 months after hi def vaser lipo. Is it still swelling? Thank you for your question. It is possible that you have some residual fat or loose skin on the sides which can only be determined on physical examination. The first photograph is difficult to assess because of the swelling but it is unlikely that you have more fat appear after two months. Please have your Plastic Surgeon examine you and help you with your problem. I sometimes use a non surgical option like invasive radio frequency to tighten the skin in this area. All The Best !

Answer: Its too soon to comment Swelling and fibrosis take 4-6 months to resolve. In the meantime they present as localised hardness and look bumpy. I recommend that you go for massages by a physiotherapist. If after 4-6 months they persist, then you can go back to your plastic surgeon who will examine and counsel you about any small correction if needed. So, just wait, Im pretty sure this may resolve by itself.

Answer: Abdominal Etching Concerns after Vaser In order to assess what is going on with the fullness of your flanks, e.i love handles, an examination is required. Fullness results from residual fat left behind or prominent oblique muscles. For optimum flank contouring the area needs to be approached from both front and back. If you were not turned to your back during surgery there may be some residual fat that has been left behind. If your fullness is due to prominent external oblique muscles, then this is your natural anatomy and no further treatment is possible. Finally, you may have some skin redundancy in the flanks as well as the lower abdomen that can compromise your results. Renuvion technology allows us to tighten your skin, without the need for cutting. A skype or facetime consultation with a VASER specialist could be helpful to answer your question more accurately.

Answer: Healing after liposuction Hi and welcome to our forum! Congratulations on your recent procedure...The procedure of liposuction is an "insult" to the soft tissues, resulting in swelling which will initially totally obscure the operative result. 60-80% of the swelling should subside within the first 6 weeks, with the remainder slowly subsiding over 6-12 months. Fine definition will not be apparent until healing is complete. Your final result is still camouflaged by swelling. Continue followup care with your plastic surgeon... Best wishes...
