Sweating after microneedling? Will I get an infection? 1 day post op.

Question

11 hours after I had microneedling done I took a hot bath and I think I was sweating. I did not know I could not get hot or sweat, what now? Will I get an infection?

No, sweating is unlikely to negatively impact your results. I recommend following up with a cosmetic dermatologist for skincare and after care recommendations. I always combine microneedling with prp and lasers to get the best outcomes. We do treatments every 3-6 weeks. Best, Dr. Emer
