Hello, I had an endoscopic brow lift 3 years ago and initially loved the results. It wasn’t until I had my daughter 10 months ago, seeing my low set, deep, hooded eyes on her, that I realized I never needed a brow lift because she is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. Now when I look in the mirror or at pictures I don’t like seeing my eyelids and feel like I don’t look like myself anymore. I’ve been looking at ways to go back to how I used to look. I miss having a smaller forehead, and hooded eyes. I feel like I look older as well. Ideally I’d love to simply reverse it, but I’m not sure that’s feasible and I’m a little leary of having surgery again. I’ve read Botox can help lower the brows, but I’m looking for a more permanent solution. Just wondering what would be my best option.

At 3 years post endoscopic brow lift, your result is fully settled and stable. The honest reality: brow lifts are much easier to perform than to reverse, and 'reverting' usually means a brow-lowering procedure rather than truly undoing the original surgery.
Why reversal is more complex:
An endoscopic brow lift releases and repositions the brow upward, then holds it with fixation (sutures, absorbable anchors, or bone tunnels). Over 3 years, the tissue has fully healed in the elevated position and the released tissue planes have re-scarred. There's no simple 'release the stitch' option this far out.
To lower the brow, a surgeon has to actively bring it down and hold it there, which is the opposite of what facial tissue wants to do. Scar tissue from the original lift actively resists it.
Options for bringing the brow down:
Brow-lowering surgery: The corrugator and procerus muscles, and sometimes the frontalis, are addressed to reduce the elevating pull, and the brow is surgically repositioned lower. This is a specialized procedure &mdash; far fewer surgeons do it than do brow lifts.
Botox to the frontalis: The frontalis muscle elevates the brow. Strategic Botox relaxes it and can let the brow settle slightly lower. Temporary (3 to 4 months) but a low-risk way to preview whether a lower brow is actually what you want before committing to surgery.
Fat grafting to the brow: Adding volume to the brow region can create the visual weight of a lower, fuller brow without truly repositioning it. Helps in select cases.
What I'd recommend:
Start with Botox to the frontalis. It's reversible, inexpensive relative to surgery, and tells you whether a lower brow genuinely looks better on you. Many patients who think they want reversal find the Botox-modified position is enough &mdash; or find they actually prefer their lifted brow once they see the alternative.
If you confirm you want a permanent change, seek out a surgeon who specifically does brow-lowering work. This is not standard brow lift territory, and most brow lift surgeons don't do the reverse routinely. Ask directly how many brow-lowering procedures they've done.
Bring photos from before your original brow lift &mdash; they help the surgeon understand your baseline and what 'reverting' actually means for your face.
Honest expectation: you likely can't get all the way back to your exact pre-lift appearance, but a meaningful, natural-looking lowering is achievable in skilled hands.
