Unfortunately you will need a new prosthesis on the implants. With the advent of technology you could get a same day 3d printed copy of your current upper hybrid and that is copied for the final made of zirconia or similar materials
Your prosthesis should be produced again. If the broken prosthesis is moving, it may also damage your implants.
Go see your dentist first thing to have it fixed. If it is only a prosthetic failure (meaning only the teeth) then you will need the bridge replaced. However if there are other issues including implant problems that needs to be addressed immediately. In addition it needs to be determined why the teeth fractured (this is key to understanding any changes that need to be made to your bite in the new set). You might also benefit from a night guard if you are not already using one. Anything that needs done however has to be determined by a dentist first.
Hello! It depends on the type of material that was used to restore your implants. The science of biomaterials is evolving everyday and we have newer and better materials (both functionally and esthetically) to restore implants nowadays. I would advise you to book for a consultation appointment for a material upgrade. We offer a hybrid material option with a flex bar for foundation and zirconia bridges, thus combining the strength and esthetics of zirconia and compatibility of the bar.
I assume that the fixed bridge is what broke. As long as the dental implants are fine, you can always replace the Zirconia bridge for a new one. Thank you.
Hello there, we can help you with that, may I have an x-ray or a complete photo of your teeth sideways and front, up & down.
What might be at issue is "wear and tear" but also might be a fracture. If ignored COULD lead to more damage, including losing the implants themselves. The solution might include making a new bridge on the existing implants, so it isn't likely to cost as much as what you paid 10 years ago.
you can always have a new set as long as the implants are fine, and also you can have a good surprise by searching abroad to perform a hybrid or zyrconia bar over those implants.
Hello. Your dental arch is narrow for your teeth which causes crowding.I recommend orthodontic treatment. The empty spaces in your dental arches are being used for correcting your crowding. Although, your orthodontist can plan to use the gaps for maintaining future implant places. This depends...
While the simple answer is yes, there can be some facial changes, one should not expect drastic changes. This is both good AND bad, in that if you really WANT changes, then I think you will be disappointed. The fullness of lips, or lack of, may mean that the prosthetic needs to come...
Hello. The anterior position of upper incisor teeth determines your facial profile. Sometimes these teeth in the prosthesis can be positioned in more anterior position to support your lips to overcome "older appearance".However, the wrinkles in your lip may also be corrected by additional dermal...
