Answer: Tattoo fading It is difficult to assess from your photo but it appears you are trying to remove eyebrow shading?? We would advise you to do no more as the iron oxide pigments in these inks can turn darker or orange.

Answer: Laser Tattoo Removal- Eyebrows Tattoo Hello! Thanks for your question and photos. It appears as though you are hoping to remove or lighten tattooing over your eyebrows -- a popular permanent makeup technique. Unfortunately the darkening effect you see in your test spot is a common occurrence with makeup tattoos. Many of the inks used in this form of tattooing contain iron, which allows the artist to create a more natural effect as regular black tattoo ink can be too bold or harsh for this purpose. But the iron in these inks will often oxidize when treated with a laser, causing it to darken or become reddish-brown. While it is possible to remove these tattoos, it usually takes longer and requires more specific adjustments than a regular tattoo removal. Most laser providers will rather recommend that you allow your eyebrow tattoos to naturally fade instead of pursuing laser treatment, since typically this form of tattooing only lasts two to five years. If you do want to continue with your laser treatments, I would suggest seeking the help of a qualified laser professional, like a board-certified physician or dermatologist, who has demonstrated experience removing permanent makeup tattoos. Best of luck!
