Weight loss after buccal fat pad removal?

It's generally advisable to reach your goal weight before considering buccal fat removal. Although the volume of the buccal fat pad tends to remain stable even with weight loss, the lest of the facial fatty tissue may be reduced, resulting in some sagging of the skin.

I recommend focusing on your weight loss first, and then reassessing whether you still want the procedure once your weight is stable. This approach ensures you achieve balanced and long-lasting results.

Weight loos after buccal fat removal could make the face more chiseled and the cheeks more prominent, specially if patient had some overweight. The face won't sag neither IF AND ONLY IF the patient has good prominent cheek bones. If the patient has weak cheek bones, it would be ideal to enhance them to avoid sagging of the face.

Although you shouldn't experience significant sagging or changes in face shape, you can always opt for additional treatment or procedures to make sure you are happy with your appearance.
