I have had treatment from own dentest for invisalgn, one year on my teeth are slipping back to the way they were before treatment, im not happy as i do ware my retainer every night. can i get my money back from the dentist due to this situation as i have spent a lot of money ?
Answer: This doesn't make sense!
If you wear your retainer as align suggests the teeth won't slip back. Period> With that in mind getting money back is not an option. I would go back to your dentist and ask him for help and respectfully request that he or she not charge you for the revision. The dentist is not to blame for this and neither is Align.

Answer: Why are my Teeth moving back after Invisalign Treatment?
If you are wearing your invisalign retainer for at least 8 hours every night, your teeth should not be moving period! I would immediately schedule an appointment with your dentist and find out what is wrong. The problem might be that you are not changing the retainers often enough and they stretch or loosen and do not fit properly. Align Tech introduced Viviera retainers as a series of 4 sets that you will use over a specific time frame to accomodate each patients' needs. I am assured you and your dentist can get the results you had and find a solution to the movement! Hope this helps

Answer: What to do if teeth slip back after Invisalign
A critical part of orthodontic treatment is mantaining the result after it is finished. If you have been wearing your retainers faithfully they should not be moving back, and your dentist should be closely involved in monitoring this. I suggest that you should go see your dentist and have him/her evaluate the situation and suggest remedies. There is always a way to correct any relapse, and your dentist will be able to suggest a way to get things back where they need to be. Usually some retention care is included in most orthodontic fees, so whether your dentist will charge for any relapse correction may depend on the particular circumstances of your case.

Answer: Money back from Invisalign
When you have orthodontic treatment your relationship is with the orthodontist, not the manufacturer of the appliances used.
If you are unhappy with treatment, either fixed braces or removable Invisalign, discuss the situation with the orthodontist. If the orthodontist is ethical, he will try to correct the problem either through re-treatment or refund. Also, he may tell you that your result is the best that can be done in your particular situation, and therefor no refund or retreatment is due. Your discussion with the orthodontist will be the same, no matter what type of appliances were used.

Answer: Teeth Relapsing after Invisalign
I would suggest that you contact your dentist to have him take a look. You may want to consider having Invisalign treatment again. All you may need is Invisalign Express which can take six months or less to finish your treatment. Since the removable retainers don’t seem to be working for you, I would consider having the dentist make you fixed retainers that would always stay in your mouth to keep your teeth from shifting. Good Luck!
