Is it normal when getting a bridge or crown done to have some of the root or dentin exposed? (photos)

Hi. I am in the process of recently having a single Kanine crown and a 3 teeth bridge done. My very back tooth on the bridge i noticed she didnt take my margins all the way to the top. So some of the root is exposed and I have sensitivity issues now with this 2nd temporary bridge. Is this normal on a bridge or crown to have the root or dentin exposed? My dentist said its because I had recently had my back molar extracted next to it. Is this ok? I am getting worried.
