How to treat a blue vein on the nose? (photos)

Question

I developed blue veins on my nose on both sides. Please advice how to get rid of them? They are visible constantly, getting twice bigger while smiling. Is sclerotheraphy possible in this area? Thank you

Veins in this area are hard to treat.  I would not recommend sclerotherapy because these veins drain into the angular veins which can lead to the ophthalmic veins. The picture is not very good but if the veins are small, then I would use fine needle RF. Larger veins I would not treat.

Thank you for the post.I recommend that you see an oculoplastic surgeon for this vein that is so close to the medial canthus of the eye. These are not technically difficult, but if you get swelling of the eye, the vein specialist is going to wish he had referred you out before he dealt with it.Dr Karamanoukian
