Nose redness - how can this be fixed? (Photo)

Question

My nose frequently gets this redness whether it is hot, cold, or temperate and whether my skin is dry or moisturized. Is this something that could be corrected with rhinoplasty? If so, is there a specialized type of procedure or specialized plastic surgeon i need to look for?

The photo shows diffuse redness across the bridge and tip, with milder central facial redness. That pattern looks more like vascular or inflammatory skin reactivity than a structural problem with the nasal bones or cartilage, although a photograph cannot establish the diagnosis. Rhinoplasty would not correct it and postoperative swelling could temporarily make redness more noticeable.

A dermatologist is the best first specialist. They can evaluate possibilities such as rosacea, irritant or contact dermatitis, sun damage, or another inflammatory condition and review triggers, skin-care products, medications, and symptoms such as flushing, burning, bumps, or visible vessels. Depending on the diagnosis, treatment may include gentle skin care, prescription topical or oral medication, or vascular laser or IPL performed by an experienced clinician.

Avoid using nasal surgery or filler as a redness treatment. Take photos during several flares and note temperature, exercise, alcohol, spicy food, skin products, and duration; this helps the dermatologist identify the pattern. Seek earlier medical review if the redness becomes painful, one-sided, swollen, ulcerated, or associated with drainage or fever.

People with rosacea tend to have nasal redness and Central cheek redness, that tends to be made worse after drinking alcohol, and can also be made worse with temperature changes.
