Why is my chest and most of back darker than the rest of my body? (photo)

This started about a year ago. However, sometimes it lightens up, but idk how. I need to know what kind of skin condition this could be!

Hi there,It would be easier to lighten the darker areas then to make the lighter area darker; not to mention safer.  See a certified physician and discuss chemical peels, hydroquinone and spf.Best of luck...

Cosmelan and enlighten peels should be used then vivatia foam, reveskin fortified bleaching cream, phytoplus and reve skin acne purifying enhancer.  I suggest you see an expert.  In office, aerolase and clear and brilliant can be used. Best, Dr. Emer.
