Hello, thank you for your question regarding the 360 circumferential lower body lift and whether you should get a BBL, partial body lift, or full body lift. Basically, you had a tummy tuck, so you do not need a "full" lower body lift. So, that leaves BBL or partial (posterior) body lift. Based on your single picture and "poor skin elasticity", I would highly recommend a partial or posterior body lift. During this posterior body lift procedure, an incision is made across your upper buttocks and the end of tummy tuck scars are joined. Through this upper buttock incision, careful dissection is performed towards the bottom of your buttock, your butt is raised, and reduced. I believe the posterior body lift would be much better than a BBL because you would need a lot a fat to completely fill all the loose skin in your buttocks, and that your larger BBL butt would look disproportionate, if augmented with fat. I specialize in reconstructive plastic surgery after weight loss. If you have any more questions regarding the lower body lift, 360 circumferential lower body lift, belt lipectomy, belt abdominoplasty, or belt dermolipectomy please contact my office. Since the body lift is a big procedure, please seek an experienced, board certified plastic surgeon with significant experience performing the lower body lift. Do your research. Make sure they have performed at least 100 circumferential lower body lift surgeries and have the before and after pictures to prove it. Carefully examine their before and after pictures and check their reviews on RealSelf. If you cannot find an experienced, lower body lift surgeon in your neighborhood, consider traveling out of state if you must. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen.
