Hi, I just recently got a poke tattoo done by my friend, and it was pretty much healed already. it was done 5 weeks now, how many session will it take to fade?
Answer: Removing a new tattoo The good news is that is a new tattoo, so the ink has yet to settle into the dermis. Newer tattoos are generally easier to remove as is black ink. You should find a provider that uses Pico technology as results are generally achievable in fewer visits and with less risk of adverse effects such as hypo/hyperpigmentation and scarring. I would estimate between 4-6 for this tattoo. Good luck!

Answer: Pico laser is the best solution The good thing is that the tatoo is new so it’s easier than the old ones. For sure with a laser q-switched and at least 720 picosecond laser beam it will disappear in 5session with less risk of adverse effects than using other kind of tecnology.

Answer: Laser tattoo treatments *** Please note I wrote this before reading other physician answers. I do not intend to offend or directly contradict another opinion. Hello from the USA, I was in Milan last august and it was stunning. There are a lot of good things for you. The tattoo is black , thin and small. Looks to be on your forearm also good, better than on a foot which takes longer. So much misinformation out there so I will speak from 15 years to laser tattoo experience and not paraphrase laser sales tactics. First off, it was meant to last a lifetime so don't rush to get it off in the quickest manner, haste leads to heartache. I would expect 6-10 sessions no sooner than 6 weeks apart and in tattoo removal the length of time between sessions allows for better clearance and less complications. The laser of choice in my opinion is the gold standard Q switch YAG its great on black ink and gentler on your skin type which is likely IV. It is NOT more likely to scar, it is NOT more likely to burn as it is a photo acoustic system that bases the ink breakdown on acoustic trauma as opposed to laser heat or photo thermal as used in laser hair. Picosecond lasers have been a let down, the first one the picosure has been in litigation for results that are not nearly what was promised. In fact most evidence leads to using the Q switch for all tattoos during the first 4 sessions which in my opinion is not worth the extra costs. Best of luck , I think if you start you will have a happy outcome.

Answer: Poke Tattoo Hello, Thank you for sending a photo of your tattoo. Tattoo removal and how many treatments it can take will depend on how thick your ink is (newer ink is thicker), where it is on your body and how healthy you are. Newer tattoos usually take longer (even stick and poke method) due to it being thicker. The body location will clear faster if on the trunk and take a little longer if on an extremity. Your body takes the ink away through your immune system and blood stream, so the healthier your immune system is then you will clear your ink faster. Most of your ink will be dissolved by the laser and your body will take it away. Things that can improve and speed up your tattoo removal process will be good circulation (exercise), healthy diet and possible some liver support. I think you will need 8-10 treatments with the PicoWay Laser.
