What is the largest areola that have you ever seen before?

My areolas are 11 cm wide. I am 38DD with 400 cc silicone implants. I would like to remove my silicone implants and a breasts lift. I went to see two plastic surgeon and they found a very challenge plastic surgery. I need suggestions and recommendations.

Thanks for your question, tzikas1, and sorry to hear that you have concerns.  Certainly large areola can present issues in planning and executing a breast lift (with or without implant removal), and 11 cm sounds large, but certainly most plastic surgeons will have addressed patients with similar anatomy.  It is difficult to comment on your case without a picture or a physical exam, but know that it is likely that a plan can be developed to achieve your goals.  Perhaps you could undergo an areola reduction first, and then months later, as a staged procedure, you could have an explant and mastopexy.  Consider consulting with Board Certified Plastic Surgeons who have an interest in and considerable experience with complex breast surgery.  Best of luck as you consider your options.
