Question

I had facelift with pixie ear correction and otoplasty setback and ended up with open wounds that comes open every once in while especially incisions behind my ears and this disfiguring scarring makes my stomach sick! What happened and what do i do lip lift as well

Permanent sutures are often used in otoplasty. The sutures can become infected and fester like they have in your situation. You probably been to have the area explored and some of the deep sutures removed

I'm sorry to hear about the challenges you're facing post-surgery. Fortunately, most of your scars are located behind your ears, which is a favorable location for scar healing. Sometimes, scars may heal differently, and if you prefer a less visible location, behind the ears can be an ideal spot. I recommend allowing yourself time to heal and ensuring there is no residual or mild-grade infection present, as indicated by the incisions reopening. Being on an antibiotic can be beneficial in such cases. Additionally, you may consider treatments like hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) to enhance blood flow to the area, which can aid in improved healing.

Another option to explore is scar revision surgery. In many cases, scars improve over time and can be further enhanced with the use of scar gels like Skinuva or laser treatments.

ABSOLUTELY you need to discuss this with your surgeon! That should not be happening. I can't tell if it's reopening because you have irritation there/granulation tissue that could be treated with some silver nitrate. The large scarring I can't tell if that is due to hypertrophic scarring that could respond to steroid injections and/or there was just too much tension on the closure. This is definitely something you ought to seek help in person about.
