Unsuccessful Apple Cider Mole Removal (Photo)

Question

I did an apple cider vinegar mole removal a few years ago but it was unsuccessful. Only a portion of pigment was removed but half of it is still there. I would like to know if the apple cider vinegar would affect the detection of melanoma through a biopsy and what further test do I have to take to ensure it is not melanoma?

I don't recommend attempting to remove moles yourself. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Moles can be removed with laser, radiowave or shave. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

A biopsy is needed to determine if a mole is cancerous or not.  I would recommend seeing a physician so that your mole can be examined to determine if a biopsy would be recommended or not.  If you would like the mole removed, this is also better performed by a physician than by yourself using apple cider vinegar.
