I got 4 moles on my face shaved off yesterday. My doctor told me to let it scab and don’t pick at it so it will heal in a week. But I was reading people’s advice on aftercare and I heard that letting it scab will make the scar worse. I’m just confused now, should I let it scab or not? I’ve been cleaning my face gently with a dove beauty bar and warm water and then diluting hydrogen peroxide and cleaning off the cuts and then adding aquaphor with a bandaid on top. Am I doing this correctly? Thanks

I am unable to make a diagnosis based upon your photos. The gold standard for making the diagnosis is a skin biopsy. This is an outpatient procedure and is associated with minimal discomfort. I am pleased to read that you have been pro-active and you made an appointment with a Dermatologist....
I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist for after care. I recommend Silagen + Bioshield to promote healing. If there is any scarring from the scratch can be improved with lasers and microneedling/prp. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
