How do I get rid of lumps after SculpSure treatment?

It is 6 months after my Sculpsure treatment from what I believe to be a reputable office in Melbourne, Florida and I still have three hard nodules ranging from about 1 to 2 inches long each. I am still massaging them and feel no change. The Patient Representative at doctor’s office said she checked with everyone and was not aware of anyone ever having this experience and sent me to their office aesthetician. The aesthetician said she really didn’t know what she could do.

While rare, it is normal to develop nodules after SculpSure treatment. They are clumps of dead fat cells that can go away with massage and drinking lots of water. Since yours have not resolved with massage after 6 months, a fat dissolving treatment such as Cellutone is advised.

Thanks for your question.  We have been performing SculpSure treatments for almost 3 years.  We have seen nodules in less than 10% of our patients.  In layman's terms, the nodules are the dead fat cell that have clumped to together.  The good news is that it sounds like you received a good treatment.  While these can be pesky, they are harmless.  Normally, nodules will resolve within 0 to 6 weeks with massage.  At 6 months, I would probably recommend seeking out a percussive treatment like Cellutone to break them up.  Best of luck.
