So the very last minute I went down from a 340 to a 320cc implant as I was too scared of the implants going into my armpits. I feel like these implants are too small for me now! It's been 3 weeks post op. And I have no side boob/ lateral fullness at all. I had asked for side boob but wasn't too sure how much I would've gotten. What do I do? I want the implant to sit lower on my chest and to have more side boob.
Answer: Post Op Concerns - Appearance of Breasts Hi Sugarnips, I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the early stages of the healing process at 3 weeks post op. Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery. Dropping of implants is part of the healing process and this occurs after the tissues surrounding the implants slowly relax, allowing the implants to settle into their final position. It can take about four to six months for the implant to drop down to their final position. Also, your breasts can drop at different rates. But if you are still concerned, you can always visit your plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns. This way, you will be reassured. Also, if after six months, you are not satisfied with the appearance of your breast, you can visit your plastic surgeon and discuss the possibility of revision surgery. Lastly, follow your plastic surgeons post-operative instructions and advice for faster healing and recovery. Answer: Lateral fullness Sugarnips, Thank you for your question and pictures. On average, implants attain their final shape/position at around 6 months after a breast augmentation. Given that, you should continue to follow the instructions that your surgeon provided and see him/her regularly during that interval. Frequently gentle massage on the upper pole can help the implants drop slowly into a nice pocket producing a beautiful result with lateral fullness. Give it more time and I bet your breasts will improve. Hope this helps!

Answer: Breast implant size I would advise waiting at least 3 months to allow your body to adapt to the changes from your new implants. They won’t stay looking exactly how they are now. A 20cc difference is very very small and would barely be significantly noticeable. Continue to follow up with your surgeon and discuss your concerns with them. Take care

Answer: Too Early To Critique Too early to critique. Implants haven't even had a chance to settle yet. With time they'll drop and more lateral fullness should occur. Hold off critiquing until at minimum the 6-month mark.20 cc is a negligible difference! A tablespoon is 15 cc. One of those medicine cups used for cough syrup is 30 cc. That 20 cc is not making the difference in your lateral fullness.
