What are symptoms of a pulled chest muscle with implants?

Question

I have had persistent soreness in one breast. My PS says i may have torn my pocket. Nothing looks abnormal... if anything there may be slight swelling. Very minor if so. Its hard to sleep on that side. Its feels tight/tingly and sometimes it spasms. My implants are 3 yrs old and under the muscle. Its been 4 wks since i first noticed the pain. Taking ibuprofen and using ice. Little to no improvement.

Thank you for sharing your question and I am sorry to hear of your chest pain.  A muscle pull will lead to discomfort that typically worsens with motion, and may have accompanying swelling.  This pain is often reproducible with a specific point tenderness and gradually improves with time.  I would check in with your surgeon for an in-person examination for a full diagnosis and treatment discussion.  Hope this helps.
