Hi there. CT and chest X ray and even mammogram are all effective with sub- muscular implants. If there is any doubt then MRI is often used to visualize the breast tissue.

Depending on the reason for the radiologic exam, it may require additional views to see what they are looking for.

Sub muscular implants should not affect the results of a chest X-ray or MRI.placing implants sub muscular is a standard and safe technique which also allows less incidence of capsular contracture and makes mammograms easier to interpret .

Breast implants will be seen on these imaging studies; generally speaking, they do not interfere with "visualization" of your anatomy.  For more specifics, discuss your concerns/questions with the involved radiologists. Best wishes.

The implants will be seen on any X ray, but the underlying tissue, like lungs and heart, can still be safely examined. The X ray will also not harm the implants.
