I want plastic surgery and I know they offer 360 Lipo, Tummy Tuck and BBB at the same time but I really dont want to gain the weight back, which is why I was wondering if I could do everything at the same time.
Answer: Gastric bypass and body sculpting? If you are a candidate and want to lose weight via gastric bypass, you need to have that done first and get to your goal weight. Once your weight is stable, you could then look into sculpting your body with possibly a tummy tuck, liposuction, and BBL. I have done that combination of procedures in one operation many times on patients. Usually a mommy makeover for patients wanting their shape back after children. However, after massive weight loss is also a common patient to do this combination of procedures. Get consults with a bariatric surgeon and body sculpting plastic surgeon to give you more information. Good luck.

Answer: Combination of surgeries Dear LissaBenz, I understand your concern. It is best however that you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine whether you can have several aesthetic surgeries in one session, as this would depend on various factors including but not limited to your general health condition, the type of anesthesia that will be used, and the type of surgeries that will be performed among others. Answer: It is not recommended It is technically possible to combine gastric bypass surgery with procedures like 360 liposuction, a tummy tuck, and a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), but it is highly uncommon and generally not recommended. Each of these surgeries is significant on its own, involving substantial stress on the body and requiring specific post-operative care and recovery. Combining them increases surgical risks and complicates recovery. Gastric bypass is a major bariatric surgery that involves altering the digestive system to promote weight loss. It carries its own set of risks, including nutritional deficiencies and the need for long-term dietary adjustments. Pairing this with extensive cosmetic procedures like a tummy tuck, liposuction, and BBL can overwhelm the body, heightening the risks of complications such as infection, poor healing, blood clots, and excessive strain on the cardiovascular system. Additionally, the results of cosmetic procedures are often more effective and aesthetically pleasing after a patient has reached a stable weight. For those undergoing gastric bypass, significant weight loss typically occurs over the course of 12–18 months, and the body continues to change during this period. Performing cosmetic surgery too early may lead to suboptimal results, as excess skin or fat may become more pronounced as weight loss progresses. Most surgeons recommend staging these procedures, addressing weight loss through gastric bypass first, followed by body contouring surgeries after weight stabilization. This approach minimizes risks and allows for better outcomes.

Answer: Hey!!! Hey! Thank you for your question The answer is no! This two procedures are done by two different specialist and is not recommended to do this at the same time. Liposuction is an intervention in which fat is removed from one or more areas of the body. Also known as liposculpture, it is not a treatment for obesity, but is a technique to shape the body by removing adipose tissue. With liposuction you can easily remove stubborn fat deposits and also make your skin firmer and more elastic. It depends on the area to be treated, general or local anesthesia may be needed. Bariatric surgery popularly known as stomach reduction is an intervention that reduces the size of the stomach and or the ability to absorb nutrients. The main objective of the intervention is that the person can lose excess weight that until now had not been able to. This type of operation is indicated for people who are overweight and have a BMI (Body Mass Index) of more than 35 or between 30 and 35 if they suffer from a disease such as type 2 diabetes, sleep apnea or hypertension, among others. The main advantage of bariatric surgery is the great improvement in the quality of life of the patient, the disappearance or improvement of obesity related diseases and reduces the risk of suffering from cancer. Currently bariatric surgeries are minimally invasive and leave almost no scars, they can even be performed laparoscopically.

Answer: Cosmetic and Bariatric surgery at same time? This is not recommended. You should have your weight loss surgery first, and get much closer to your goal weight before having cosmetic. We recommend within 30 pounds or less or your goal weight. You will get better results from your cosmetic surgery, plus it allows you to heal from your bariatric surgery.
