Should I get an implant or braces?

I'm 18 and I have a gap between my front teeth which wasn't much of a problem until I was 16.I fractured my 2 front teeth, one broke in half and the other cracked, so the dentist did tooth bonding for me, but there was something black inside the tooth which was very disturbing. I ignored it for a while but then I noticed that it's getting loose and is rotting at the back. So I'm not sure if I should continue with this tooth and get braces or get an implant because I am tired of this gap.

From the photo, it appears that your lower and upper teeth have shifted, especially the lower teeth. Can you still wear your upper retainer? You should schedule an appointment with your orthodontist and it is very likely that you will need a short treatment to correct the relapse of your teeth....

Hi, crazymarvelchick! Thanks for your question. To answer, for the great majority of patients, an "overbite" is an esthetic concern. But, if in your case it isn't, please let your orthodontist know you'd be happy to align your teeth without correcting it. "Overbite" correction can be difficult...
