People always say that I look like I have a beak. To me it's not that attractive and I don't know how to fix it. Would I just get injections or something else?

In order to give your lips volume there are a few different ways to go. One is have a lip implant put in surgically. Second is having Juvederm put in but that may last only a few months, There is also doing a fat transfer to the lip by having liposuction and putting it in the lip which gives you more of a natural look. Hello,I had a couple of ideas for you.  You could attempt to augment the sides of your upper lip to try to balance the central portion (tubercle).  I would suggest hyaluronic acid fillers such as:  Restylane, Restylane Silk or Juvederm. Another consideration is surgery.  You could decrease the prominence of the central portion of your lip by elevating a flap from the mucosal surface, trimming the excess and insetting it.  The scar would be invisible as it would be on the inside of the lip.If you wished to make the sides of the lip larger to balance your tubercle, you could do a similar mucosal procedure where you advance the mucosal surface of the lip on the sides to fill in the depressions.  The procedure is called V-Y advancement flaps.Hope my suggestions were helpful.

question. Have you previously had fillers injected into your lips? I highly
advise using fillers or surgery to correct the upper lip. If you wanted to
avoid surgery, I suggest using fillers to redefine the shape, volume, and
symmetry of the upper lip. Given the expertise and artistry, fillers are a
great way to reshape and naturally volumize your lips. At my practice, I
commonly use Belotero, Juvederm, and Restylane Silk for lip augmentations that
give patients excellent results! These fillers are comprised of hyaluronic
acid, which is already a natural occurring molecule found in your lips. With a
proper consultation, a Dermatologist can determine the best filler for your
lips that will give you long lasting results. Here is an in office procedure of
a lip augmentation performed using Belotero. Our patient was thrilled with the

If your upper lip is hollow, you  might want to consider a bit of lip filler in the muscle to balance it out. Best of luck.

I would suggest filler injections (Juvederm)  to selectively sculpt your upper lip.  Fat could also be used.  I do not recommend an implant because the center of the implant will also enlarge the center of your upper lip.  The fillers or fat can be placed just where you need the volume on the sides of the lip.
