Is there truly no antidote for Botox? What would a kardashian do if they had bad Botox? What about Pyridostigmine taken orally to contract the muscles. Some docs have been talking about it lately on real self. I know there is an injectable in the works coming out to counteract the affects. I have terrible cheek ptosis and eye bags after Botox and it's causing severe depression (working with psych too). It's been 2.5 months. I know It would be up to 6. Desperate for relief.

You’re right—there isn’t a widely available “antidote” for Botox (onabotulinumtoxinA) in the way there is for some medications. Once Botox is injected, it works by temporarily blocking nerve signals to the muscles, and the effects gradually wear off as your nerves regenerate—usually over 3–6 months, depending on the area and dose.

For the issues you’re describing—cheek ptosis and eye bags after injections—there are a few points to know:

Supportive and corrective options exist, even though there isn’t a true reversal pill. For example:

Targeted neuromodulation adjustments: Small amounts of Botox in surrounding muscles can sometimes balance the effect and improve ptosis.

Fillers or volume replacement: These can help lift the midface subtly to counteract sagging or droopiness.

Topical or oral agents: Pyridostigmine has been discussed in some forums as a way to increase muscle contraction, but it is not widely used or FDA-approved for reversing cosmetic Botox. It has systemic effects and should only be considered under strict medical supervision.

The injectable reversal agent you mentioned is still experimental and not commercially available yet.

I completely understand the distress this has caused. While we wait for the toxin to wear off naturally, strategic cosmetic adjustments and supportive care can help mitigate the appearance and improve your confidence. Your mental health support is also very important—Botox complications can be distressing, and it’s excellent that you’re already working with your psych team.

It may be helpful to understand how Botox works to better understand what you are experiencing.  Botox gradually will be metabolized three to four months after injection for many patients.  If you are noticing that you are able to animate the areas that were treated you can be comfortable that the product is beginning to wear off.  It's always important to select an experienced injector.  Discuss your treatment goals as well as review before/after photos of their work. The nerve endings die back after Botox attaches to the SNAP-25 receptors in the nerve terminals, and function returns when new nerve endings grow. Thus can never happen immediately. However, radiofrequency treatments like ThermiSmooth or Pellevé seem to hasten the process.
