How can I lighten my underarms and bikini line after chemical burn from acids? Should I see a dermatologist? What do I ask for?

I got both my under arm and bikini waxed as usual. I then started using PFB Chromabright+Vanish on my bikini line as well as turmeric and lemon. As expected my skin began to peel and reveal new skin. At first my bikini was lighter, then over 3-4 days I noticed it was getting a lot darker. So I stopped using the product. My underarms did not get darker. I then started using Amlactin lotion on my armpits to help lighten them but now my underarms are red and getting darker.
