Motiva Round vs. Ergonomix Demi or Full for a Natural Full C with More Upper Pole Fullness?

Question

I’m 40 years old, 5’8”, 145 lbs, with a BWD of 12 cm. I’m currently a 34B and have some mild ptosis (sagging) after breastfeeding, but not enough to justify a breast lift. I’m planning to get Motiva implants and am trying to decide between Motiva Round and Ergonomix in either Demi or Full. My goal is to achieve a natural-looking, full C cup with more upper pole fullness, but I don’t want excessive forward projection or a fake, overly augmented look. I’m leaning toward Ergonomix because I like the softer, more natural appearance, but I’m concerned that it might not provide enough upper pole fullness or could accentuate my slight sagging. I’ve been recommended implants in the 340–400 cc range.

Hello. The implant of choice for more upper pole fullness is round implant rather than anatomical. Round implant will help in achieving reliable upper pole fullness. However, whether you are the candidate for just breast augmentation or augmentation mastopexy ( breast lift with implant) requires a due clinical examination or at least photographs. Hi there,
If upper pole fullness is your top goal, a Motiva Round is usually the more reliable choice. Ergonomix is lovely and soft, but its gel is designed to settle toward the bottom when you stand, which gives a very natural slope and less fullness up top.
A few points worth knowing:
- Once implants are in, even surgeons have trouble telling round from shaped implants in photos. A well-sized round implant can look very natural.- With mild sagging, you want the volume to sit high enough to lift the look of the breast. Weight sitting low in the implant can make sagging look a little more obvious, not less.- Your 12 cm width matters. 340 to 400cc is a fairly wide range for that width, and the implant needs to fit your chest. A Demi in that range usually gives fullness without a lot of forward projection. A Full projects more.- Augmentation alone, with no lift, works well when the nipple sits above the fold and the skin is in good shape. Your surgeon can confirm that on exam.- Try sizers in a sports bra and a fitted shirt, and ask about 3D imaging such as Crisalix.
