I dermarolled a bit too hard with a 1.5 mm roller. I gave the wound a week to heal (was on break) but then had to use hydroquinone/sunscreen to protect/blend the wound with the rest of my skin (obvious part of my face). I have brown melanin naturally so it stands out more. 3 weeks later the skin is much better healed but still lighter and reddish than the surrounding skin. Can hydroqunine with retinol (Palmer's) inhibit pigment formation permanently or will it return if I gradually use less?
