I recently got a 2mm punch biopsy performed to check for skin cancer on a mole on my back. I'm a little worried about scarring. Is it likely the new skin will grow back white, and therefore my mole will have a white circle in the middle? Or will it heal unnoticeably - and grow back the same brown colour of the mole? The mole is about 1 x 1.5cm large.
