Invisalign trays missing attachment bubble?

Question

Recently put in my new trays and immediately noticed that there is a missing bubble/pocket for the attachment on my top right lateral incisor. There is however a bubble for my left lateral incisor, which leads me to the question; are these trays supposed to be like this or was there a mistake in the creation of these specific trays?

There are times when an attachment needs to be removed during a series of Invisalign aligners. This is usually when a power ridge needs to be placed on the aligner, since attachments and power ridges cannot be used at the same time for a specific tooth. If you still have the attachment on your tooth, but there is no space for the attachment on the aligner, then you should call your Orthodontist and let them know. The attachment should be removed so that the aligner fits well.The Invisalign computer algorithm can decide to do this on its own, and occasionally it is missed by the provider to plan for it during treatment.  It’s an easy fix so give them a call.

sometimes existing attachments are programmed to be removed while new ones places during specific stages of your Aligners. Bring it to our doctor's awareness and check  with them to make sure they have not missed that checkpoint.
